Second Wind Bicycles is on a mission to bring the transformative power of bicycles to those who need it most - financially at-risk families, refugees, individuals in recovery, and those struggling with homelessness. Despite the prevalence of bikes, these groups are often left without access to reliable transportation. That's why we're dedicated to finding, fixing, and distributing bikes with compassion and generosity.

How can I donate a bicycle?
Yes, deliver bikes to us or let us arrange pickup.
Do I qualify to receive a bicycle?
We limit adult bicycles to those who are financially struggling and use a bicycle as their primary form of transportation. This includes the homeless, refugees, people in recovery, and those with disabilities.
Do my children qualify?
Absolutely. We have no requirements for our children bicycles.
Can I get another bicycle?
We allowed 1 bicycle per year (and 1 swap for something else within 30 days).
Can you pick up my donated bicycles?

Can you deliver a bicycle to me?
Call or email us to discuss. Based on need, we will make one delivery attempt.
Can you repair my bicycle?
Generally, no. Call or email us to discuss.
What types of bicycles do you have?
We have a little bit of everything! I'm sorry no e-bikes.
You are a 501c3 nonprofit and insured?
Yes, EIN 88-0715086. We have GL and D&O insurance.
What is the right size bicycle for me?
Height and age are the biggest factors. Check out our bicycle sizing chart.
Can you send me a donation receipt?
