Second Wind Bicycles is on a mission to bring the transformative power of bicycles to those who need it most - financially at-risk families, refugees, individuals in recovery, people with different abilities, and those struggling with homelessness. Despite the prevalence of bikes, these groups are often left without access to reliable transportation. That's why we're dedicated to finding, fixing, and distributing bikes with compassion and generosity.

How can I contact you?

with your request. We have limited calling at (484) 212-5160.

Do I qualify to receive a bicycle?
We limit adult bicycles to those who are financially struggling and use a bicycle as their primary form of transportation. This includes the homeless, refugees, people in recovery, and those with different abilities.
Do my children qualify?
Absolutely. We have no requirements for our children bicycles.
Can I get another bicycle?
We provide 1 bicycle per year (and 1 swap for something else within 30 days).
Does my bike come with a guarantee?
Yes. If you encounter any issues within the first 30 days, let us know. We are happy to correct the issue.
I missed my appointment. What now?
To respect and protect our volunteers, missed appointments will put your request to the back of the line.
What happened to my bicycle request?
After five days of no response, we remove your request and release the bicycle to others in need.
How can I donate a bicycle?
Yes, you can deliver bikes to us or arrange a pickup.
When can I stop by?
We are open most days and weekends. Scheduling an appointment is preferable.

Can you repair my bicycle?
I'm sorry, we are not a bike shop.
What types of bicycles do you have?
We have a little bit of everything! I'm sorry no e-bikes.
You are a 501c3 nonprofit and insured?
Yes, EIN 88-0715086. We have GL and D&O insurance.
What is the right size bicycle for me?
Height and age are the biggest factors. Check out our bicycle sizing chart.
Can you send me a donation receipt?
Absolutely! Just ask. Also, check out our IRS suggested donation value guide.
